Jane Gifford has been recording her dreams and making work exploring dream language and narrative, the cumulative process of dreaming and notions of the diary, through drawing, painting, printmaking, installation and video, for twelve years.
She has had several solo exhibitions in London, Manchester, and New York, and has participated in numerous group shows.

paintings of key dream moments.

156 paintings, 3 for every week of the year.
Oil on canvas. Each 5" x 7"

Dream Inventory - November 2001
44" x 44" oil on linen.

One of a series of paintings, one for every month, chronologically
cataloguing the one or two most significant objects from each night's dream.

Dream Home

The perfect home for dreaming - a standard garden shed, painted a
'dream-like' lilac, furnished with a bed and papered with facsimile pages from the Dream Drawings notebooks.

In Your Dreams

A new video project which questions the belief that there is nothing more
boring than someone else recounting their dreams. A hundred people tell a
dream to camera.
